Grants & Funding Support

Master’s-Undergraduate Scholarly Engagement (MUSE) grant (MS Biology student: Anna Salem; BS ENV student: Dyana Diaz; faculty advisor: Jess Vogt) to support the students’ MS and BS thesis research, “Public and private tree diversity: Urban ecosystem services and wildlife benefits at neighborhood-local scales” (College of Science and Health, DePaul University: $1,000 to each student). Summer 2025.

Undergraduate Summer Research Program (USRP) grant (student: Dyana Diaz; faculty advisor: Jess Vogt) to support the student’s B.S. thesis research, “Assessing ecosystem services of public and private trees: Implications for Our Roots tree equity neighborhoods” (College of Science and Health, DePaul University: $3,585 [24 hrs/week for 9 weeks]). 2025.
