Project Description
The core premise behind our research here at LUFA is that urban forests have significant benefits to neighborhoods, communities, and cities, and that these benefits are particularly important in light of the challenges in the Anthropocene. However, at present, urban forestry research and practice are largely disconnected and disengaged from the sustainability science community. In the interest of bridging these two complimentary fields and building transdisciplinary synergies across research and practice, Jess is working with several groups of colleagues in urban forestry and related fields on various presentations and publications to strengthen the connections between urban forestry and sustainability science. More information about the presentations and publications below (in reverse chronological order).
